Job Description:

We seek a seasoned Licensed Drone Operator/Videographer with extensive experience in productions for government agencies, healthcare, education, nonprofits, and cultural institutions. You'll expertly navigate commercial centers, schools, parks, government buildings, new construction, hospital campuses, and recreational hiking areas, showcasing your skills in cinematography and videography techniques. Ideally, this role will expand beyond drone operation, allowing you to serve as a second camera on select shoots.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture breathtaking 4K+ resolution aerial footage for government agencies, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, cultural institutions, and diverse production types.
  • Operate your own cutting-edge drone equipment (ideally within the last 1-2 years).
  • Provide on-site monitors for viewing and playback, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with directors and editors to achieve project visions and seamless integration.
  • Demonstrate your prowess in cinematography and videography when serving as a second camera operator on select shoots.
  • Manage project timelines and deliver exceptional aerial content that exceeds expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience (at least 10 years) in drone operation for various social sector organizations (cities, counties, hospitals, colleges, etc.) or at high levels for the film/movie industry.
  • Licensure: Possess all necessary FAA certifications and licensure for commercial drone operation.
  • Equipment: Own and maintain advanced drone equipment, capable of shooting 4K+ resolutions (equipment purchased within the last 1-2 years is preferred). Including on-site monitors is a plus.
  • Cinematography/Videography: Demonstrated understanding of cinematography and videography techniques to deliver artistic and compelling footage.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work as an independent contractor, collaborate effectively, and respond positively to feedback
  • Background Check: Willingness to successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
